2. Connect the Smarter WiFi Pro to your existing router using a wired LAN cable. Plug one end of the cable into the LAN port of your existing router and the other end into the WAN port of the Huawei AX3 router.
Step 2: Connecting to the Router
3. Use your smartphone to search for available Wi-Fi networks.
4. Find and connect to the Wi-Fi network with the router's SSID (network name) provided after claiming the router.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Step 3: Accessing the Router settings
6. Open a web browser on your smartphone (or any device connected to the router) and type in the IP address 192.168.3.1 in the address bar.
7. The login page for the router settings will appear.
Step 4: Logging In
8. Enter the password Simplify123 in the login page and click on the login button.
9. To ensure a better user experience, select the desktop version of the web page by finding the option at the top right corner of the page (if using a smartphone).
Step 5: Configuring PPPoE
10. Navigate to the "Connect to Internet" tab in the router's web interface.
11. Look for the option to select the internet access mode and choose PPPoE from the available options.
Step 6: Entering PPPoE Credentials
12. Enter your Broadband account username and password provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the appropriate fields.
13. Set the MRU (Maximum Receive Unit) number as per your ISP's requirements. The default value is usually fine for most ISPs.
Step 7: Leaving Other Settings Unchanged
14. Leave the "MAC Clone" option as "No MAC clone."
15. Leave the VLAN option unchecked.
16. Leave the Static DNS option unchecked.
Step 8: Saving the Settings
17. After entering all the necessary information and confirming that everything is correctly set, scroll down to find the "Save" button and click on it.
The router will restart to apply the changes and configure itself with the PPPoE settings you provided.
